At a press conference held in Seoul on May 13, 2025, Lim Seong-taek, who serves as the executive vice president for sales and marketing at Samsung Electronics in South Korea, unveiled the company’s latest model—the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone. This device boasts several innovative features including an extremely slim profile, enhanced camera capabilities, and AI-powered functionalities. According to Samsung, this new handset has a thickness of just 5.8 millimeters—considerably slimmer compared to the standard Galaxy S25 which stands at 7.2 millimeters thick, and even more so when contrasted with the thicker Galaxy S25 Plus variant measuring 7.6 millimeters.
